Lewis Barbershop — Where Main Street Still Slows Down

There are still places along the Grand Strand where time doesn’t rush you out the door.
On Main Street in North Myrtle Beach, Lewis Barber Shop is one of them.

The chairs, the mirrors, the rhythm of the room — it all carries something that doesn’t need to be explained. You can feel it when you walk in. It’s not about being new. It’s about being there… year after year.

Bobby and Lynwood started this shop back in 1952. Over the years, people have come and gone, but the place itself never really left. It just kept showing up, doing what it’s always done.

Some come for a haircut.
Some come because they always have.
And some come just to sit a while and be part of it.

Step inside and take a look around.

Every place has a story. If you’ve lived one, we’re here to help you share it.
